Face Cleansing for Healthy Skin
Soap and water is great if you have perfect skin, but it can be problematic for people who wear a lot of makeup, have dry skin, or live in an area with hard water. Soap doesn’t remove make up well, and it tends to dry the skin as it washes always oils and lipids that keep the skin supple. Normal skin can replace these oils fairly quickly, but dry skin might have trouble replacing them before the skin needs to be washed again. Plus, soap used with hard water is difficult to rinse away completely and can leave residue behind.
